1.-getting-ready

If you want me to, then yes. Generally, as a documentary style photographer, I shoot whatever I observe from wherever I am in the moment. I don’t set things up or take ‘mock’ photographs i.e. people pretending to do things like applying make up or cutting cake. I want to tell the story of your day as it really happens.

 

2.props

I rarely ever bring props. However if you really want to use your own, please feel free. I never ask or suggest that people make wedding poses such as the groomsmen carrying the bride or groom across their arms but I can appreciate that some people might want to do it for fun. In my experience, these sort of things are not often planned, I’ve never heard clients say “I want a picture of us all jumping in the air” but what does often happen is that one of your mates or family member will suggest it because they think it will be fun and more often than not, the bride and groom will just oblige. I just shoot whatever I happen to observe on the day so if carrying the bride or groom is your thing, I might just end up photographing it anyway.

 

3.what-time

If I am booked for your wedding day, I make myself available for the entire day and do not work at any other events or have any social engagements. This means I can start whenever you would like me to.

 

4.unlimited-consultation

It means you can call/email/text as often as you wish for advice, ideas, suggestions or just chit-chat to make sure all details have been discussed and for peace of mind!

 

5.printing

It means you can print your own photos and share them for personal use. You just can’t sell the images or give them away for commercial use even if you are mates with hairdresser who does your hair on the day and wants the pictures for promotion on their own website. If a wedding vendor would like to have the photos, please direct them to get in touch with me and I’ll happily assist. The copyright remains with Liz Wan Photography.

 

6.illness

I am part of a wedding photographer network to cover for such eventuality.

 

7.travel

Travel within the U.K. is normally included (although I am based in Nottingham, I also have a base in South London and North Yorkshire) However for destinations which I cannot reach within a sensible driving commute in time for the required start-time or if I feel driving is unsafe after extended hours of working, extra charge for alternative commute options and/or accommodation (if deemed necessary) may apply.

 

8.diff-venues

There is no extra charge for this.

 

9.uk

Yes! However, flights, transfers and accommodation are not included.

 

10.how-long

As a general rule of thumb, no later than 30 days after the day of your wedding.

 

11.insured-

Absolutely.

 

12.hate

I specialise in making people feel at ease when having their photograph taken with me. And I promise never, ever to tell people to smile, kiss or say cheese!

 

13.Photoshop

No.

 

14.book

Dates are only reserved on receipt of a filled out and signed booking form along with a non-refundable deposit of £250. (You have 14 days to change your mind)
